the gift of patience is given to a few…strived by many… seeked by most…the need is in all of us. …the need, maybe more prevalent in some(?)…in teaching and trying to fulfill the quest of parenthood.. we or I seek patience in the soul of a child… the eagerness and the curiosity of a child’s soul is seldom led by patience… but yet they do not have the same barriers as we do..we the so-called grown-ups… their patience lie in learning….seeking … the understanding… the listening… whilst ours lie in being able to see, learn, listen……without barriers……as we are wrapped in the constant struggle for time….the essence of our lives lie in the ability to be able to indulge in the present….to pause…. to breathe deep….and just be….. Masao Yamamoto talks about it in “the space between the flowers”…….having the patience to linger in what lies right in front of us…. & to indulge in that delicate space between the flowers…….
